Everybody on Earth are born as Baby.
When Babies grow, they are either Boys or Girls. Later they become
Young. Then Old. At every stage, their activities do have certain
limitations. A born baby cannot even move a little, and the mother
carries it (see the difference even in the selection of the pronoun
'it'), mother feeds it, washes out the discharges, bathes it, put
clothes on. [Remember: everybody on earth, are born, brought up and
grew/grow like this].
During death also, others (living people) are required to bury the
dead body.
From these too, everyone should understand that he is created as
social, and everyone should help and co-operate to and fro.
A Baby has no duties
except to eat /drink /discharge/ cry during bathing, falling, etc.
When the Baby becomes a Boy or Girl, we don't use the pronoun 'it',
the Boy/Girl receives or enjoys more freedom compared to the
Baby-status. Not only that, he/she receives duties and
responsibilities which increase gradually. He/She may be
required to go to market for buying milk/rice , to water the plants,
to assist in cooking, etc.
But his Chief Duties &
Responsibilities are connected with Learning.
His assisting the Parents shall be considered as chances for
learning and application
of the Family Duties & Virtues to be followed.
A Boy or Girl when
becomes a Student, his/her freedom increases as part of growth. But
it should not be misused.
His/Her duty at the School is to learn the different branches of
Science, according to the Individual Tastes, which are to be
distinguished / supported by the True Gurus/Scholars (Teachers). The
purpose or aim of the Student is to educate.
Primarily, To educate for his Present and/or Future time. Secondary,
for the Society.
A
student interested in Political Science should learn all the
branches of Dharma Shastram. Let him learn first. Not try to make
applications.
Virtues first, Duties only second.
His involvement in Student Unions developed due to the
Incorrect Social/Political set-ups prevailing in the country.
The Political Parties, the Religious Forums & the Religious
Leaders, the Government & their Machineries, the Silent
Courts, and the educated parents who less care about their
'children and the society' are the Main Culprits.
The Students as well as the Grown-ups should always understand that
all their activities should be in accordance with Dharma Shastram.
Many
Articles have appeared many times in many newspapers regarding the
above subject presenting with examples. Hence it is quite
unnecessary to write more.
